The Bartram Trail Society website is a custom-built theme using WordPress along with having Membership functionality allowing users to sign up to become a member.
The beginning phases consisted of the Graphic Designer creating the initial designs in Photoshop and I was tasked to create the website from the design files. The Bartram Trail Society website was built using a custom backend to build the pages using the plugins Advanced Custom Fields plugin. I used the Advanced Custom Fields tool to create reusable field groups to build the content and page layouts. The membership functionality on the website is built using the WordPress MemberPress plugin. The membership layout and final design is still under development during time, but the website the essential functionality for users to sign up on the website, have user accounts, and accept online payments.
I am also involved with building custom newsletters using MJML and importing it into Mailchimp, along with creating reports in Google Looker Studio using Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
The website design was all custom coded using WordPress functions, hooks, custom post types, PHP, CSS, and JavaScript. The custom CSS is built by using SASS where the code is compiled and minified to plain CSS and the custom JavaScript code is also complied and minified using task runners and NPM.
