WordPress SASS HTML JavaScript PHP MJML GreenSock Membership

The Bartram Trail Society website is a custom WordPress build featuring full membership functionality that allows users to sign up, manage accounts, and make online payments. Working from Photoshop designs provided by the Graphic Designer, I handled the front-end and back-end development, building a flexible structure with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) for easy content management and layout control.

Membership features were implemented using the MemberPress plugin, customized to match the site’s design and user experience. In addition to development, I created custom newsletters using MJML and integrated them into Mailchimp, and built performance reports in Google Looker Studio using Google Analytics and Google Search Console.

Custom Reporting and Analytics with Looker Studio

Created a custom reporting page for the Bartram Trail Society website that connects data from Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager into a unified dashboard built-in Google Looker Studio. This setup provides clear insights into user behavior, search performance, and engagement metrics in a visually organized report.

Custom Email Template with MJML and Mailchimp

Coded a fully responsive, component-based email template using MJML. MJML compiles into clean, standards-compliant HTML optimized for all major email clients, ensuring consistent rendering and strong deliverability. After thorough testing and optimization, the final code is imported as a template into Mailchimp, where its structure allows for quick updates and flexibility in future email campaigns.

Membership Functionality with MemberPress

Implemented MemberPress to power the site’s membership system, enabling users to register, log in, and manage their accounts easily. The integration supports paid memberships, recurring payments, and restricted access to member-only content. Also configured membership reporting to track sign-ups, renewals, and cancellations.
