ASU Training Portal

The ASU Training Portal website is an online course website for teachers. This website involves selling online courses on the website with having multiple types of user access to the website.

The ASU Training portal involved a lot of collaboration from the team to plan out the development of this website. The project involved creating whiteboard collaboration, flow charts, wireframing, prototyping, moodboards, architectural design, user experience, integration and testing, development and coding, and feedback and review (Milanote board of ASU Training Portal). This project was special because I was involved from the beginning phase to work on the strategy and deliverables. This gave me the opportunity to know every phase of the project and to work closely with the designers, project managers, and developers.

The ASU Training portal is a custom-built theme and implementing the LearnDash LMS plugin and the Woocommerce plugin. The ASU Training portal involved a lot of customization, not only with a custom theme, but also with implementing many WordPress hooks , Woocommerce hooks, LearnDash custom WordPress hooks, and custom PHP function to build the functionality the portal required for the project. The CSS was code was written using SASS and compiled to plain CSS, as well as any JavaScript code where it was minified using the task runner Gulp.
